An outstation post

Yo! This is Skeeter's first outstation post ever!
Skeets is posting from Haridwar on Diwali night. It is 11:25 pm. All are asleep. This is too much yaar! Can't be sitting/lying in a hotel room. Na na na...So decided to visit blog dear. Initial plan was to sneak out of the hotel. Went out for a little while. Maza ni aaya. Thandiiii si hava chal ri hai. Skeets has taken ill of late. Too sad. This sinus is killing her now. 30 days and no signs of reprieve. Fish!
Have been hearing some non-stop chatter from Brother Bear since two damn days. I pray for silence.
Have also been warned NOT to click picturs else some sadhu uncle would kick me in the Ganges! Now, this is three much! Bhaisaaaaaaaab main pagal ho jaungi!
The place is NEAT. The sound of the water is so inviting. Wanted to go there and sit for a long long while. Alas!
Missing Delhi already. Can't wait to go back.
More later :)
Happy Diwali to all!

Happy Diwali!
Hope Skeets moved up beyond Lakshman Jhula and enjoyed the real Ganga. The white waters, the breeze, the sparkling sound - can work wonders for one's mind.

That newspaper act must have turned you into an obsessive blogaholic! Makes sense if that has indeed been the case.

I think you'll die early. 30 days is a bad omen.

Seems like a lot has changed in that place. When I was being brought up at Haridwar, I remember people clicking and dying in the process as a routine activity at the revered ghats. And the water used to be shit dirty back then too!

Good thing done. Paap dho kar paap nagri mein wapas.

well, paap dhone ka sahi mauka :), bt sound of water is soothing and romantic, and i love such places, gives me time to sit and think what i've achieved and what i still want to achieve.

PEACE OF MIND basically.. neva been thr,and don't know when nxt wld i get a chance, but m sure it is v v beautiful.
Happy diwali and 'njoy..

P.S.: hawa yahaan bhi bahut chal ri hai, sinus ne meri bhi watt laga rakhi hai, and uspar snowfall (which is ironically beautiful :))..so delhi mein kahan aur kab mil rahein hain :D :D :D

Haridwar is pretty...I love the Ganges...but m sure u cud have clicked the Sadhu...water was already inviting you...it would have been all yours had he kicked you in the Ganges. I remember I spent some time in an ashram in Rishikesh afew years back.... and the whole natural beauty at the my parents' place in Dev Prayag..its breathtaking! And the romance with the river goes on...
I hope u had a good Diwali!
