Oye Oye budday boy! Oye Hoye!!!

Happy Birthday Blazing Boy!
Raising three glassis for you!
Ek glassi... do glassi... teen!

Last year, this day, I was still to give you a 'certificate' and now see :D You got it :) Life's like that.
Bereft of words, I am. Still, I want to thank you for being there, for the endless hours that you drive to lug me from Gurgaon to Delhi and back that make me feel so so so very special, for the lovely company at the lunches and dinners and the in-betweens (they form the backbone of Delhi Foodies' Zone and keep me beeming as well), and then I cannot thank you enough for being there for her, for she forms such an important part of our universe. And o' course for everything else.
*Hugs*
God Bless!!!

Two giggling lasses

At times when you are low, try digging the good from the bad. I did.
Chose to spend my mid-week off day with ma best buddy... Came bak home feeling soooooooo good. Good food and good company...what else would I need on a day like that... Far from the hustle bustle of Dilli, I found solace in Gurgaon...No deadlines, no updations, no office politics... it was bliss! What Fleur and me love about each other is that we can be at our silliest best when together. We don't find each others' weird wanna dos crazy at all. Instead we help each other live the moment. For instance the visit to 'The Body Shop': we entered with no intention to shop... we sniffed through all the goody goody smelling products, apllied some of them below our palms, smeared some on the top of our hands... "hey this is nice!" "u smell this one!" "no! first u smell this one..." Vanilla, rose, oceanus, brazilian nut, papaya, shea butter... we love the exotic scents... They lifted our spirits like anything...
The Hot chocolate at our favourite cafe Barista soothed my sinuses, as we relived old days when we used to spend hours at a Barista in West Delhi...And then came the suggestion from Fleur... Y did u not buy sumthing for urself? We entered The Body Shop once more and I picked up a Passion fruit lip butter...
Fleur, on the other hand took me along to shops where she always wanted to go, but the to be hubby does not agree to take her to... not that I have anything against him... We came out of the MGF mall to see the roads all clean as it had rained heavily for 15 minutes, and the weather had taken a turn for the better.. Then came Fleur's demand: I want shakarkandi (sweet potato)! I obliged... She ate it in the same fashion in which a 2 yr old would be seen relishing her candyfloss...
As we sat in the car, we wanted to do nothing but click. With our cameras out, we barely spoke on the way... Here is what I did:
Galleria, we love this place!

They want to cry, some more...
