my hypothesis (without any logic,of course)regarding this blog getting more hits is.... because of the background color ;blue color being more easy on the eye than black ...
think your ruminations are more food for thought :)

four reasons :-
1) people generally are not foodie.......
2) the food blog of urs doesnt
a) unearth any unknown places (mostly)
b)compares it with the known ones.....
3) the places covered are mostly upper middle class favored places and food u generally talk abt is veg....
4)NEtworking with foodies :-

we have quite a decent one on orkut....and a excellent blog to go with it........
well may be.. bt then the reasons have been specified in all these comments made by bloggers... i'd say, i am a foodie :) ... bt not every1 is...
